The work is supply and placement of 1,000 tonnes of armour rock for seawall maintenance, with an option for up to 300 additional tonnes.<br><br>Project Title: Hokitika Seawall Year 1 Maintenance 2026/27<br>Location: Permanent seawall CH 0-CH 641, Hokitika<br>Contact: Oliver Rose | 027 412 7081 | oliver.rose@wcrc.govt.nz<br>Tender opens: 20 October 2026, 9 am | Closes: 23 November 2026, 4 pm NZDT<br>Completion: Four weeks after award; extensions under Schedule 2, S2.2<br>Contract 2026-27.10 | 20 October 2026<br><br>1 Scope of work<br>Supply and individually place 1,000 tonnes of new 1.5 - 6T armour rock into weak, settled or open<br>areas through the lower body and toe of the approximately 650 m permanent Hokitika seawall.<br>Interlock new rock with sound existing armour at agreed repairs within Appendix A; no uniform<br>spread or continuous new layer is required.<br><br>Include supply/cartage, access, staging, placement, public protection, accessible loose-rock recovery,<br>records and reinstatement. WCRC may order up to 300 additional tonnes, subject to funding and<br>written instruction, at your quoted all-inclusive rate per tonne. The same specification applies; no<br>extra quantity is guaranteed. Exclude crest reconstruction, the temporary northern wall, buried-rock<br>excavation and permanent seaward extension.</td></tr></table>
